Cubs vs. Cardinals 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule for NLDS Game 2

St. Louis leads the best-of-five series, 1-0.

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Cubs will try to even up their National League Division Series in Game 2 against the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday evening at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, and at the very least will try to generate more offense than in Game 1.

Chicago was held scoreless on just three hits on Friday night, though they kept the game just a one-run game until Tommy Pham and Stephen Piscotty hit home runs in the eighth inning to give the Cardinals a 4-0 lead.

"We could not get anything generated," Cubs manager Joe Maddon said after the Game 1 loss. "We had maybe like one opportunity then eventually Addison (Russell) advanced to third base, but they did -- they pitched really well all season. That's a big reason why they won 100 games is that they've pitched so well."

After John Lackey pitched 7 1/3 scoreless innings in Game 1, St. Louis turns to left-hander Jaime Garcia in Game 2. Garcia was 10-6 with a 2.43 ERA in the regular season, but managed to make 20 starts without facing the division-rival Cubs even once in 2015.

The Cubs were 20-14 against left-handed starting pitchers during the regular season, though they hit just .238/.319/.372 against southpaws all season.

The Cardinals have advanced to the NLCS in each of the last four seasons, but from 2011-2014 each of their division series matchups were tied 1-1 after two games. The Cardinals on Saturday will try for their first 2-0 NLDS advantage since 2006 against the San Diego Padres, a series St. Louis won in four games.

Kyle Hendricks starts on the mound for Chicago.

TBS has coverage of Game 2, with Brian Anderson on play-by-play, Joe Simpson and Dennis Eckersley as analysts and Matt Winer reporting from the dugouts.

Online streaming of the game will be available on TBS.com or the TBS app, with authenticated users needing to login using their television provider information. In addition, Postseason.tv will offer up to 10 live alternative camera angles during the broadcast.
