Mets vs. Cubs 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch NLCS Game 3 online

New York leads the best-of-seven series, 2-0.

Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

For the first time in 12 years, the National League Championship Series will take place at Wrigley Field, with the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs battling in Game 3 on Tuesday night at the friendly confines.

The Mets lead the best-of-seven series, 2-0.

The Cubs last hosted an NLCS game in 2003, when they lost the final two games at home to lose the pennant to the Miami Marlins in heartbreaking fashion.

Kyle Hendricks gets the call on the mound in Game 3 at Wrigley Field, where he shined in 2015, to the tune of a 3.38 ERA in 15 starts with 86 strikeouts in 85⅓ innings, and a strikeout rate at home (25.1 percent) much better than on the road (20.5 percent).

Hendricks also had a whopping 10 no-decisions at home this season, going 2-3 at home thanks in part to Chicago scoring three or fewer runs seven times in his Wrigley Field starts.

Daniel Murphy, who has five home runs in seven games this postseason, including one home run in each of the last four games to set a Mets franchise record, is 1-for-6 with a double in his career against Hendricks.

Jacob deGrom looks to continue his stellar postseason on Tuesday night with the start in Game 3 for the Mets. The right-hander allowed only two runs in two starts against the Dodgers in the NLDS, both wins, with 20 strikeouts and four walks in 13 innings. This followed a stellar regular season that saw him go 14-8 with a 2.54 ERA in 30 starts, with 205 strikeouts and 191 innings.

If there is a bright side for the Cubs, deGrom lost both starts against Chicago during the regular season, allowing eight runs in 10⅓ innings, including a loss on May 11 at Wrigley Field. The Cubs were 49-32 at home this season, and won both games in Chicago so far this postseason.

TBS will continue its NLCS coverage beginning with a pregame show at 7:30 p.m. ET, with host Casey Stern and analysts Pedro Martinez, Curt Schilling and Dusty Baker.

First pitch of Game 3 is scheduled for 8:07 p.m., with Ernie Johnson on play-by-play alongside analysts Ron Darling and Cal Ripken Jr., along with reporters Sam Ryan and Matt Winer. Online streaming of the game will be available on TBS.com or the TBS app, with authenticated users needing to login using their television provider information. In addition, Postseason.tv will offer up to 10 live alternative camera angles during the broadcast.
