Blue Jays vs. Royals 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch ALCS Game 6 online

Kansas City leads the best-of-seven series 3-2.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

David Price takes the mound for the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday, trying to stay alive in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series, on the road against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium.

The Royals lead the best-of-seven series 3-2, one win away from a return trip to the World Series.

But the series could be 3-2 in favor of Toronto were it not for a fateful seventh inning in Price’s last start, Game 2 on Saturday at this very stadium in Kansas City. After allowing a leadoff single in the first inning, Price retired 18 straight batters and was dominant with a 3-0 lead heading into the seventh inning.

A pop fly into short right field opened the frame, but instead of an easy out the ball landed between second baseman Ryan Goins and right-fielder Jose Bautista for a gift single, and the floodgates were open. The Royals added four more singles and a double in the inning, all but one hit against Price, turning a three-run deficit into a 5-3 lead and an eventual 6-3 victory.

It was Price’s seventh career postseason start, and his seventh loss. He tries to remove the monkey off his back in Game 6.

The Royals turn to Yordano Ventura, who has allowed three runs in all three of his postseason starts this season. He has 16 strikeouts and six walks in 12⅓ innings so far this season in the playoffs, but has also allowed nine runs and 16 hits, including two home runs, for a 6.57 ERA.

Kansas City, winner of 51 home games during the regular season, is 4-1 at home so far in the postseason, outscoring opponents 25-14 at Kauffman Stadium.

FOX Sports 1 will televise Game 6 starting with a pregame show at 7 p.m. ET. Game coverage begins at 8 p.m. with Joe Buck on play-by-play, alongside analysts Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci and reporters Ken Rosenthal and Erin Andrews.

The game will be available online via the FOX Sports Go app, with authentication required via a television provider.
