With a win, the Royals would be the first team in four years to play in back-to-back World Series.

Kansas City leads the series 3-2, one win away from a second consecutive AL pennant. Since the New York Yankees reached four consecutive World Series from 1998-2001, winning three, only two teams have reached the Fall Classic in consecutive seasons -- the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008-2009 and the Texas Rangers in 2010-2011.
Yordano Ventura starts Game 6 for the Royals in Kansas City, where he was 7-5 with a 3.84 ERA in 14 home starts during the regular season, with 85 strikeouts in 79⅔ innings.
David Price starts Friday night for the Blue Jays, who need a win to force a Game 7, which would be held on Saturday night in Kansas City.
The winner of the ALCS will open the World Series at home beginning on Tuesday.
Game 6 will be televised by Fox Sports 1 with a pregame show at 7 p.m. ET, followed by game coverage at 8 p.m. with Joe Buck on play-by-play, alongside analysts Tom Verducci and Harold Reynolds, and reporters Erin Andrews and Ken Rosenthal.
The game will be available online via the FOX Sports Go app, with authentication required via a television provider.
