The Royals are up two games to one in the series, but dropped Game 3 on Friday night, 9-3, with starter Yordano Ventura lasting just 3⅓ innings.
Kansas City will turn to Chris Young to start Game 4, on three days rest after the right-hander pitched three scoreless innings in relief with four strikeouts to win Game 1. After the 14-inning thriller on Tuesday, a 5-4 victory for Kansas City, the Fall Classic has featured a pair of blowouts, with a 7-1 win for the Royals in Game 2 and a 9-3 win for the Mets in Game 3.

The Royals so far this postseason are 2-4 on the road, with high-scoring affairs, a total of 76 runs scored by both teams in those six games.
The Mets will start left-hander Steven Matz in Game 4.
