After a pair of prime time Wild Card Games each getting their own night to shine, we move into the Division Series round of the 2015 MLB playoffs, and Thursday afternoon sees our first day this postseason with multiple games.
2015 MLB playoffs schedule: American League Division Series both start Thursday
Each ALDS series is best-of-five.

Both American League Division Series begin on Thursday, starting with the Toronto Blue Jays hosting the Texas Rangers at Rogers Centre in the first playoff game north of the border since 1993. The nightcap is in the midwest, with the AL Wild Card Game winners, the Houston Astros, visiting the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium.
After both Wild Card Games ended in shutouts on Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday gives us an opportunity to see a game, or maybe even two, that features both teams touching home plate at least once.
Cy Young Award candidate David Price gets the start in Game 1 for the Blue Jays. However, with Cole Hamels having pitched the American League West Division clincher last Sunday, the Rangers are forced to go with Yovani Gallardo in Game 1. Hamels will get the start in Game 2 on Friday.
After Dallas Keuchel beat the New York Yankees on Tuesday night in the Wild Card Game in The Bronx, Houston will pitch Collin McHugh in Game 1 on Thursday night, with 24-year-old fireballer Yordano Ventura starting for the Royals.
Both games on Thursday will be televised on FOX Sports 1.
