In 2014, the Kansas City Royals rode their Wild Card Game win to eight straight postseason victories, sweeping their way to the World Series. So far this year, the Houston Astros are trying to do the same. After the 2015 Wild Card Game winners captured Game 1 with a 5-2 win on Thursday night in Kansas City, the Astros try for a 2-0 series lead in Game 2 of their American League Division Series on Friday afternoon at Kauffman Stadium.
