Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Royals can clinch their first World Series championship in 30 years with a win over the New York Mets in Game 5 of the Fall Classic on Sunday night at Citi Field.

The Royals won Game 4 on Saturday night to take a commanding 3-1 series lead, putting themselves just one victory away for their first World Series title since 1985.

Edinson Volquez, who learned of his father's death after his Game 1 start on Tuesday, rejoined the Royals on Saturday and will start for Kansas City in the pivotal Game 5 on Sunday night. Volquez is 1-2 with a 4.37 ERA in four postseason starts in 2015, 18 strikeouts and 13 walks in 22 2/3 innings. Both of his losses have come on the road.

Matt Harvey starts Game 5 for the Mets, five days after allowing three runs in six innings in a no-decision in Game 1. In three postseason starts this year, Harvey is 2-0 with a 3.38 ERA, 18 strikeouts and six walks in 18 2/3 innings.

Game 5 will be televised by FOX beginning at 8 p.m. ET, and a first pitch of 8:15 p.m., with Joe Buck on play-by-play, alongside analysts Tom Verducci and Harold Reynolds, and reporters Erin Andrews and Ken Rosenthal.

The game will be available online via the FOX Sports Go app, with authentication required via a television provider.
