Dallas Keuchel wins 2015 American League Cy Young Award

Keuchel is the first Astros pitcher to win a Cy Young Award since Roger Clemens won National League honors in 2004.
Keuchel got 22 of 30 first-place votes, beating out David Price, who received eight first-place votes. Oakland Athletics ace Sonny Gray finished third.
Keuchel was 20-8 with a 2.48 ERA in 33 starts for Houston, with 216 strikeouts and 51 walks in 232 innings. The left-hander led the American League in wins, innings and WHIP (1.017). Keuchel was especially stingy in Houston, going 15-0 with a 1.46 ERA in 18 starts at Minute Maid Park, the first pitcher ever to go undefeated at home with at least 15 home wins in a season.
Price was 18-5 between Detroit and Toronto in 32 starts, with a 2.45 ERA that led the American League, plus 225 strikeouts and 47 walks in 220⅓ innings. After getting traded to the Blue Jays, Price was 9-1 with a 2.30 ERA in 11 starts down the stretch, with 87 strikeouts and 18 walks in 74⅓ innings.
