Among the top prospects slated to participate in Saturday's game are a pair of outfielders drafted in the top 10 in 2013. Pirates outfielder Austin Meadows, 20, is ranked the No. 22 prospect in baseball by MLB.com, taken ninth overall two years ago. Indians outfielder Clint Frazier, the fifth selection in 2013, is rated No. 35 by MLB.com.
Mariners corner man D.J. Peterson, 23, was taken 12th in the 2013 draft, and will play in the game as well.
Other prospects in the game include Athletics left-hander Sean Manaea, acquired from Kansas City in the Ben Zobrist trade in July, Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez, and Rangers infielder Jurickson Profar, the latter rehabbing after shoulder surgery.
St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Alex Reyes was set to be the top prospect in the game, but was removed from the roster on Friday. The 21-year-old, ranked the No. 16 prospect by MLB.com and No. 10 in Baseball America's midseason rankings, was replaced on the West Division roster by Pirates right-hander Trevor Williams.
The West Division will be managed by Dodgers' Class-A manager Bill Haselman, who manages the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League, with the East Division led by Nationals' Class-A manager Tripp Keister, who heads the Salt River Rafters.
MLB Network will televise the game beginning at 8 p.m. ET, with Paul Severino on play-by-play joined by analysts Joe Magrane and Jim Callis. The game will also be streamed online live at MLB.com.
MLB Network Radio will also broadcast the game, with Mike Ferrin and J.R. House on the call.
