Will Ferrell gets his own Baseball-Reference page

Will Ferrell made Cactus League history on Thursday, playing 10 different positions for 10 different teams in five ballparks all across Arizona. On Friday, he got his own player page on Baseball-Reference.com, capturing his exploits.

Highlights include Ferrell’s nickname of Manimal, the use of quotation marks around “Bats” (the 47-year-old was 0-for-2 with two strikeouts in his two plate appearances on Thursday), and the subtle “Also competed in NASCAR” link. But perhaps the most lengthy feature on the site are the various transactions to get Ferrell from team to team, including trades for a washing machine and desserts.

Ferrell’s Baseball-Reference page fits right in with his Strat-o-Matic card.
