Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg left his start in the second inning on Friday night against the Cincinnati Reds, the latest in what has been a frustrating start to 2015 for the right-hander. After the game the Nationals said Strasburg had neck tightness and would be reevaluated on Saturday, per Bill Ladson of MLB.com.
Stephen Strasburg leaves start in 2nd inning with neck tightness
Strasburg will be reevaluated on Saturday.

Strasburg allowed a home run to Joey Votto in the first inning, giving the Reds a 1-0 lead, but after a walk to catcher Brayan Pena to open the second inning Strasburg was immediately visited on the mound by manager Matt Williams, pitching coach Steve McCatty and trainer Lee Kuntz.
After a brief conversation, Strasburg was removed and relieved by Taylor Jordan.
Strasburg is 3-5 with a 6.55 ERA in 10 starts this season, and ends his May allowing 20 runs (18 earned runs) on 26 hits in 16 innings for the month, including five home runs allowed.
The right-hander has been affected by an ankle injury suffered in spring training, and left a start on May 5 after just three innings with back tightness.
