The College World Series bracket is nearly set, with five of eight spots determined and at least two more to be set Monday. Cal State Fullerton-Louisville and Texas A&M-TCU are both winner-take-all matches, and Vanderbilt can advance after taking a 1-0 lead over Illinois with a win Saturday.
College World Series 2015: Bracket and schedule set for Omaha
The full eight-team field of the 2015 College World Series could be complete after Monday. Cal State Fullerton-Louisville and Texas A&M-TCU are playing winner-take-all games, and Vanderbilt can clinch by beating Illinois.

Vanderbilt demolished Illinois, 13-0, riding an offensive explosion from the bottom of the order. Jeren Kendall and Tyler Campbell both hit home runs as part of 2-for-4 outings, hitting seventh and ninth, respectively. It was that kind of night for the Commodores, and it was that kind of night for Fighting Illini starting pitcher Kevin Duchene, who earned just his second loss of the season after giving up seven hits and four earned runs in four innings.
The other two series have been much closer. Texas A&M came back from a 13-4 loss Saturday to win Game 2, 3-2, in 10 innings. Cal State Fullerton won Game 1, 3-2, but enter Monday’s clinching bout off a 9-3 loss Sunday.
