Blue Jays vs. Indians live stream, ALCS 2016: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch Game 1 online

First-ever playoff meeting between Cleveland and Toronto.

A pair of undefeated teams this postseason will meet up for the right to represent the American League in the World Series, with the Cleveland Indians hosting the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series on Friday night at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

TBS will televise the entire ALCS beginning with Game 1 on Friday at 8 p.m. ET, with Ernie Johnson, Ron Darling, Cal Ripken Jr., and Sam Ryan on the call.

Corey Kluber starts for the Indians and Marco Estrada for the Blue Jays in Game 1, both coming off excellent starts in the ALDS.

Kluber beat the Red Sox in Game 2 last Friday with seven scoreless innings in Cleveland, striking out seven while allowing only three hits and three walks in the win. Since the All-Star break the right-hander is 10-1 with a 2.34 ERA in 15 starts, with 112 strikeouts and 30 walks in 100 innings.

Estrada came within two outs of his first career shutout in Game 1 of the ALDS against Texas, and is 3-1 with a 1.95 ERA in four postseason starts for the Blue Jays in 2015-16.

Josh Donaldson, the 2015 American League MVP, was 7 for 13 (.538) in the ALDS and so far during the postseason is hitting a robust .500 (9 for 18) with five doubles in four games. The third baseman was 8 for 21 (.381) with two home runs, a double, and five walks this season against the Indians, putting up a .552 on-base percentage in five games against Cleveland.

The Indians were 53-28 at Progressive Field in 2016, tied for the second-best home record in baseball. Then again, so were the Rangers, and the Blue Jays beat them twice in Texas during the ALDS.
