The Boston Red Sox find themselves in a must-win situation, down 2-0 in their best-of-5 American League Division Series. However, they remain confident heading home to Fenway Park as they host the Cleveland Indians in Game 3 on Sunday afternoon in Boston.

The 4:08 p.m. ET game will be televised by TBS, with Ernie Johnson, Ron Darling, and Cal Ripken Jr. on the call, along with reporter Sam Ryan on the broadcast.

During the regular season, the Red Sox led the majors in runs scored, averaging 5.42 runs per game. They scored 33 more runs then the next-closest team (Colorado Rockies), and 70 more runs than the next-closest team closer to sea level (Chicago Cubs).

But so far in the ALDS, the Red Sox have just four runs in two games, are hitting .200/.257/.415 as a team, and were shut out in Game 2 in Cleveland.

“We need to play better, bottom line, and we’re very capable of that,” manager John Farrell told reporters in his press conference on Saturday. “Certainly confident of the guys that we have in our clubhouse in our uniform. We’ve demonstrated that for majority of the season. Granted, the last few days, particularly yesterday, was not what we’re capable of.”

Boston’s offense will face Indians starter Josh Tomlin, making his first career postseason appearance. The 31-year-old right-hander was 13-9 with a 4.40 ERA in 30 games, including 29 starts, for Cleveland in the regular season, but his final two months were a tale of two pitchers.

Tomlin had an 11.81 ERA in 26⅔ innings in August, followed by a 1.69 ERA in 26⅔ innings in September. During that hell month of August, when Tomlin was 0-5, he did have a relatively good start against the Red Sox, allowing three runs in 7⅔ innings, though still took the loss.
