The Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers will try again on Sunday to resume their National League Division Series at Nationals Park in Washington D.C., one day after rain forced the postponement of Game 2.

Sunday was supposed to be a travel day for both teams, who will fly cross country after Game 2 to get ready for Monday afternoon’s Game 3 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
“We met with both teams,” commissioner Rob Manfred said in a press conference on Saturday in Washington D.C. “I think there was a lot of consensus that no matter who controlled the game, that the right decision here was to cancel and play in good weather.
“The approach is generally the same. We hate to cancel. We hate to make travel worse on the players than it was originally intended to be. But it just doesn’t look like we’re going to have a situation that would be safe for the players to play.”
The 1:08 p.m. ET game will be televised by Fox Sports 1 on Sunday, with Kenny Albert, Tom Verducci, Harold Reynolds, and Jon Morosi on the call.
Both Rich Hill for the Dodgers and Tanner Roark for the Nationals are expected to start on Sunday, just as they would have done on Saturday had weather not wiped away their plans.
Los Angeles leads the best-of-five series 1-0.
