Wondering what days you’ll have off for non-baseball activities in October? You’re now in luck, as Major League Baseball has released the schedule for the 2016 postseason. It’ll kick off on Tuesday, Oct. 4 with the American League Wild Card Game, and could go as late as Nov. 2 if the World Series needs a full seven games to be decided.

The National League Wild Card Game will be played on Oct. 5, and since the last day of the regular season is Sunday, Oct. 2, any tiebreakers would need to be played on Oct. 3.

The American League Division Series will begin on Oct. 6, with the NLDS starting the next day. The American League Championship Series is set to begin Oct. 14; the NLCS Oct. 15. The World Series will start on Tuesday, Oct. 25, with travel days set for Oct. 27 and Oct. 31. Yes, this year you can take your kids out to trick-or-treat without missing any baseball.

The American League has home-field advantage in the World Series after winning the 2016 All-Star Game, so the Fall Classic will start in the AL park for two games, move to the NL for three games, then, if necessary, finish up with two games again in the AL’s home stadium.
