Major League Baseball on Friday announced the start times for both League Championship Series, which began on Friday night.

The American League Championship Series is up first, with the Houston Astros hosting the New York Yankees at home. Game 1 started Friday night.

The National League Championship Series begins on Saturday at Dodger Stadium, with the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the Chicago Cubs in a rematch of the 2016 NLCS. Game 1 on Saturday starts at 8:08 p.m., with Game 2 of the ALCS starting at 4:08 p.m.

During the two potential weekdays with two games, the NLCS gets the late time slot, with Games 3 and 4 starting at 9:01 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Games 4 and 5 of the ALCS, at Yankee Stadium, start at 2:08 p.m., though should the ALCS end in a sweep, Game 4 of the NLCS will shift to a 8:08 p.m. start.

Game 7 of the ALCS is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21 at 8:08 p.m., with Game 6 of the NLCS scheduled for 4:08 p.m. ET. Should the ALCS end before Game 7, the NLCS Game 6 will shift to a 8:08 p.m. start.

FS1 and Fox will televise the ALCS, with Joe Buck on play-by-play and joined by analyst John Smoltz plus reporters Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci. TBS will televise the NLCS, with Brian Anderson calling the games along with Ron Darling and reporter Sam Ryan.
