The Houston Astros made one change to their active roster for the American League Championship Series, adding pitcher Collin McHugh to their 25-man group against the New York Yankees.

The ALCS begins Friday night with Game 1 at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

Adding McHugh gives the Astros 12 pitchers and 13 position players on their active roster. Dallas Keuchel starts Game 1 for Houston on Friday night, with Justin Verlander to follow in Game 1.

McHugh was 5-2 with a 3.55 ERA in 12 starts for Houston during the regular season. The 30-year-old right-hander struck out 62 and walked 20 in 63⅓ innings. He replaced infielder Tyler White, who was on the Astros’ ALDS roster against the Boston Red Sox but did not play in any of the four games.
