President George W. Bush and his father, President George H.W. Bush, both made appearances at Game 5 of the World Series tonight.
George Bush and George H.W. Bush throw out first pitch before World Series Game 5
The elder Bush did the “Play ball!” honors.

The former threw out the first pitch while the latter was welcomed by the crowd on the sideline as the festivities kicked off. The younger Bush was a part owner of the Texas Rangers from 1989-1998. The elder Bush currently makes his home in Houston and is an avid Astros fan.
George W. famously threw out the first pitch at Game 3 of the 2001 World Series, only weeks after 9/11 occurred. Both men threw out the first pitch together during the 2010 World Series between the Rangers and the Giants.
H.W. was at the game on Friday night as well, enjoying the game from the stands as the Astros beat the Dodgers 5-3. He’s been chased by controversy in recent days as allegations of sexual harassment from multiple women have been levied at the 41st president.
The elder Bush handed off the first pitch ball to his son, who then fired a strike over home plate. You could tell he’d been practicing that throw a little bit since he turned around on the mound and looked like he wanted to yell “WATCH THIS EVERYONE” as he tossed it.
H.W. also did the “Play ball!” honors just before the game started, with his son helping him with the microphone. A true father-son affair.
