Dodgers vs. Astros 2017 live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch World Series Game 5 online

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros have played to a stalemate so far in the World Series, so with both teams at two wins apiece we revert to a rematch of Game 1 with Clayton Kershaw and Dallas Keuchel on the mound in Game 5 on Sunday night at Minute Maid Park in Houston (8 p.m. ET, Fox).

Those two pitchers matched wits in the series opener, a close game that saw Kershaw come out on top with 11 strikeouts in his seven innings.

Justin Turner, who homered against Keuchel in Game 1, starts at designated hitter for the Dodgers in Game 5 after taking a ground ball off his calf in Game 4. Logan Forsythe starts at third base for the Dodgers, with Charlie Culberson at second base.

Both teams have rallied against the other’s bullpen for signature wins in the series. Houston rallied for six runs against the Dodgers bullpen in Game 2, an 11-inning thriller that saw both teams combine for five home runs in extra innings.

The Dodgers returned the favor with a five-run ninth inning to win Game 4. The first three of those runs were scored against closer Ken Giles, who did not retire a batter and has an 11.74 ERA this postseason.

Cody Bellinger was 0-for-13 with eight strikeouts to start his first World Series, before turning things around with two doubles in Game 4, scoring the tying run and driving in the go-ahead run in the Dodgers’ win:

“He was able to slow the game down and not put too much pressure on himself,” manager Dave Roberts said. “You look at the at-bats tonight that he had, huge. He came up big.”

Just one night earlier, Bellinger struck out out in all four at-bats, and the first postgame question was whether he should get a day off.

“Everybody kind of had the same message with him. ‘We believe in you. You’re our guy. You’re special, remember that’,” said Alex Wood. “And he went out there and hopped right back on the horse and had some big hits for us tonight.”

The Astros and Dodgers have combined for a record 15 home runs through the first four games of the World Series, per Greg Rajan of the Houston Chronicle:

The breakdown is eight for the Astros and seven for the Dodgers. There has been at least one homer in each of the four games. The high is eight in Game 2, with four per side.

Per the Elias Sports Bureau, that combined output breaks the previous record of 14 through four games by the Angels and Giants in the 2002 World Series.
