The New York Yankees announced their 25-man active roster for the 2017 American League Wild Card Game, including carrying 10 pitchers in a winner-take-all contest against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium (8 p.m. ET, ESPN, Watch ESPN).

The Yankees have one of the deepest bullpens in baseball, and their relief corps held opposing batters to just .191/.279/.315 since the All-Star break. The sextet of Aroldis Chapman, Dellin Betances, Chad Green, David Robertson, Adam Warren and Tommy Kahnle have combined since the break for a 2.25 ERA with 249 strikeouts in 180⅓ innings.

Luis Severino has been great, too, going 14-6 with a 2.98 ERA in his 31 starts and 230 strikeouts, including a 2.28 ERA in the second half. The 23-year-old will start for the Yankees on Tuesday night, but don’t be surprised if manager Joe Girardi is quick with the hook.

“When you have a dominant bullpen, you go to them early. Sevy’s rolling along, you don’t necessarily want to pull the plug too early,” Girardi said on Monday. “I’m going to look at what I’ve looked at in the past. I’m going to watch the swings and the at-bats. As long as he’s continuing to do his thing, I’m not going to pull him too early.”
