Louisville and TCU are engaged in a dogfight elimination game in the College World Series, with the Cardinals trailing by one run, 4-3. So it’s only natural that the Cards’ skipper should get severely worked up over a close bang-bang play on a steal attempt at second base.

That’s a REALY damn close play at the bag, and Louisville coach Dan McDonnell has a pretty strong argument in his favor.
In any case, his runner was out, and he was gone. TCU continues to hold a 4-3 lead in the top of the eighth.
