Rory McIlroy teed off at Yankee Stadium and did his best Aaron Judge impression

McIlroy stopped by to promote the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Not everyone agrees that Rory McIlroy should be hitting the gym as much as he has been the last few seasons, but if it led to him showing off the guns and hitting golf balls in Yankee Stadium then that’s one positive outcome.

All analysis of McIlroy’s lifting habits aside, he was at Yankee Stadium for a good cause that also made for a great day at the park.

He was there, hitting balls off a makeshift tee from the club level behind home plate, to promote the FedEx Cup Playoffs as well as to highlight FedEx’s donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

That’s a good cause no matter your feelings about McIlroy, the Yankees, or both.

Rory tweeted out his excellent view of the stadium, which most ticket holders can only dream of having for an actual game, and the Yankees offered a look at his swing from the special tee.

Home run! Maybe he can help Aaron Judge with his form.
