The Astros aren’t quite dealing with the same fallout that the rest of the city of Houston is because of Hurricane Harvey — they had their series against the Rangers displaced to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, but being safe and out of the city gives them at least a leg up on too many residents still left behind. The organization isn’t ignoring that fact, though, as it announced it will donate $4 million to Hurricane Harvey relief:
The Astros will donate $4 million to Hurricane Harvey relief
Between ownership and the Astros’ foundation, the organization will give $4 million to the disaster relief needed in its city.

The Astros, through owner Jim Crane, are also going to utilize their spring training facility in Florida as a place to collect goods for those impacted by the hurricane back in Houston:
After seeing Houston multimillionaire Joel Osteen ripped apart on Twitter for a failure to open up his mega-church to displaced residents — a stance he eventually relented from after said ripping — it’s comforting to see someone in the area with money do something with it to help the victims of Harvey without having to be screamed at first. Baseball owners have plenty of issues we can (and do) side-eye them for, but at least Crane and Co. were thinking of the city their team calls home on this issue.
