Monday brings us our first elimination game of the 2018 College World Series, with the eight-team field trimmed to seven on Day 3 at TD Ameritrade Stadium in Omaha.

Oregon State and Washington battle in the first elimination game in Omaha.


Washington and No. 3 Oregon State will face off in the first of two games on Monday (2 p.m. ET, ESPN), with the loser eliminated from the tournament. The winner of this Pac-12 matchup will advance to play Wednesday for a chance to get back into the winner’s bracket.
The Beavers were upset on Saturday by North Carolina, putting the No. 3 team in the nation in a position to potentially be the first team forced to go home from Omaha.
“Anything in life worth having isn’t easy,” said Oregon State outfielder Kyle Nobach.
Oregon State won two of three games from Washington during the regular season.
The night cap is a matchup between Saturday winners, with North Carolina and Mississippi State fighting for a chance to move just one win away from the best-of-three College World Series finals (7 p.m., ESPN).
The Bulldogs beat Washington on Saturday with a 1-0, walk-off win that was one of the most entertaining games of this entire NCAA baseball tournament.
ESPN will televise both games on Monday, with online streaming available through Watch ESPN.
