Ronald Acuña, Jr. is unstoppable at the plate right now, it seems. With another leadoff home run during Tuesday night’s game against the Marlins, he’s now hit a leadoff dinger in three straight games.

And here’s just a brief rundown of all the things he’s accomplished over this stretch:
- Five straight games with a home run
- Three straight games with a leadoff home run
- Youngest player to hit three straight leadoff home runs since Brady Anderson in 1999
- Has longest streak of games with a leadoff home run since 1996
- Youngest player to ever hit a home run in five straight games
- Matches Braves’ franchise record of a home run in five straight games
- Only the fourth leadoff hitter to hit a home run in five straight games in the Live Ball Era (he joins Joc Pederson, Matt Carpenter, and Brian Dozier)
- Second-youngest player to hit a leadoff home run in both games of a double header (four days behind Mickey Mantle in 1951)
- The fourth-youngest player to have five home runs in six games (and youngest since Al Kaline in 1955)
I mean, Braves fan or not if you can’t appreciate what Acuña’s doing your baseball soul needs some tinkering. Just awesome to watch and still so young. Between him and Juan Soto (and players like Vlad Guerrero, Jr. and Eloy Jiminez on the come up) this is such a glorious time for young talents. My lord.
