Clint Dempsey leads MLS in jersey sales
Three LA Galaxy players also populate the league’s top 15.

No big surprise here: MLS fans are scooping up Clint Dempsey jerseys. Based on sales results from MLSGear.com and its Canadian counterpart MLSGearCanada.ca, the Seattle Sounders forward topped the league's jersey sales.
Like Dempsey, who will captain the United States in the upcoming World Cup, players with national team ties dominated the league's Top 15. Landon Donovan ranked No. 2, Michael Bradley was No. 3 and seven of the next 12 players on the list were at least called into the USMNT's 30-man pre-World Cup training session.
The rest of the players on the list are a who's who of international MLS stars. Thierry Henry, Tim Cahill, Robbie Keane and Jermaine Defoe filled out spots 4-7.
There were also a pair of Homegrown Players on the list, with Sounders fullback DeAndre Yedlin coming in at No. 10 and New England Revolution teenager Diego Fagundez rounding out the list at No. 15.
The LA Galaxy were the most represented team with three players. The Sounders, Toronto FC, New York Red Bulls and Sporting Kansas City each had two players make the Top 15 and a total of nine teams had at least one representative on the list.
