Masanori Kanehara Returns To Sengoku Action At SRC 15

Former Sengoku featherweight champ Masanori Kanehara will return at SRC 15 on Oct. 30 against South Korea's Doo Ho Choi, the promotion announced today.

Kanehara won the Sengoku Featherweight Grand Prix despite losing in the semi-finals. When Hatsu Hioki was unable to continue after defeating Kanehara by decision it was Masanori who came back for the finals and won a narrow split decision victory. Two fights later he was brutalized by Marlon Sandro and lost the title.

↵Choi has only been a professional for a limited time but has racked up a 6-1 record.
