Since dropping his first UFC bout to John Howard by knockout, Roberts has won two fights in a row. In his last bout Daniel won submission of the night honors with his anaconda choke win over Mike Guymon. In Greg Soto he faces a man who is 8-1 in his career with the sole loss coming by way of DQ after an illegal kick.

↵Neither man is right on the edge of breaking through to the top tier of the 170 pound division but both have a ton of upside and bright futures ahead of them. The winner of this fight should be put in a spot where they should get a crack at that tier right below the title challenger level.
