↵↵Alistair Overeem finally knows who he will be facing on the card. His opponent? Former UFC prospect Todd Duffee.
↵...MMA Fighting has confirmed with multiple sources close to the bout that both parties have officially agreed to the fight... FEG is only expected to officially announce the fight sometime after Christmas.
↵↵Overeem will be an obvious favorite heading in but Duffee certainly has a puncher’s chance. Duffee was one of the UFC’s top heavyweight prospects having picked up a 6-0 record and the fastest knockout in UFC history. Then he ran into Mike Russow. Russow took Duffee’s best shots over and over before finishing the badly gassed prospect. Duffee followed that up with a spat with UFC management that saw him released from his contract. Now he faces one of the best heavyweights in the world with a chance to either redeem his name or pick up what will likely be a brutal loss.
