UFC 128 Fight Card Preview: Nate Marquardt Vs Dan Miller
I have to believe that Marquardt is pretty upset with his last performance with Yushin Okami. He never really got anything going and has been berated by fans and Dana White alike as choking in big fights. If he doesn’t make a statement tonight I’m not sure where he ends up in the middleweight title picture.
Miller is a trooper to take this fight at the last minute, but he’ll need more than his home town crowd to get him through this fight. Marquardt has an edge in this fight in every capacity. Wherever this thing goes, I can’t find a competitive advantage for Miller. I see him having trouble standing with Marquardt and getting stopped about halfway through the fight.
