One half of the coaches from season 13 of Spike TV’s ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, Brock Lesnar, appeared last night on NBC’s ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ to hype the next season of TUF, talk MMA and more. BloodyElbow.com has a write-up:
VIDEO: Brock Lesnar On NBC’s ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’
Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar appreared on NBC’s ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ to preview the next season Spike TV’s ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. Lesnar is a coach this season against Junior dos Santos, who he will fight at UFC 131 for a shot at champion Cain Velasquez.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar's TUF 13 media blitz continued on Monday night with an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." Lesnar joined the NBC late-night talk show to discuss his new book "Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival", his childhood, his chest tattoo and coaching TUF 13.
TUF 13 kicks off Wednesday night on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET with Lesnar heading his team opposite Junior dos Santos. The two heavyweights will square off in the Octagon at UFC 131 on June 11th in Vancouver, Canada.
For all the criticisms from his WWE years that Lesnar lacks mic skills, I tend to view his maturity plus years of having a microphone jammed in his face as enormously helpful in doing media. He’s far more affable, from this distance anyway, than most give him credit.
Credit should also be given to the various producers at NBC who are seeing value in booking MMA guests. Jon Jones appeared on Leno last week and Lesnar on Late Night this week. It’s comforting to see more and more fighters make the rounds on premier network late night television shows in front of important demos to win over.
