How to Listen

How to Interact

Today on “MMA Nation” we’re going to look ahead to the biggest MMA of 2011 - UFC 129: St. Pierre vs. Shields. To get things started we’re going to talk to two of the competitors on the event’s main card.

We'll kick things off by talking to one-half of the main event: Jake Shields. Shields is on the cusp of making history as his fight against Georges St. Pierre is the most difficult and the most important of his career. We'll talk to Shields about preparing for the moment, being underrated, where Gilbert Melendez ranks among lightweights and where he think he belongs on pound-for-pound lists.

We'll also talk to former WEC lightweight champion Ben Henderson as he gets set to make his debut against famed grappler Mark Bocek. We'll talk about getting over the loss to Anthony Pettis, preparing for Bocek's style of attack, the pressure of his UFC debut and so much more.

I’ll also make it a point to recap the results from Bellator 41 and boxing’s two fantastic fights of the weekend: Victor Ortiz vs. Andre Berto plus JuanMa Lopez vs. Orlando Solido.

And, of course, we’ll also be taking all of YOUR calls. It’s toll free anywhere in North America, so don’t be shy.

MMA Nation” will air tonight 9:00 p.m. ET to 11:00 p.m. ET on 106.7 The Fan. To listen live over the Internet, go to The Fan’s website and click “Listen Live”.
