Bellator 40 Results: Josh Burns vs. Eric Prindle

Burns with a wild combination of hooks. Burns’ face is discolored and scraped. The two trade jabs. Burns is throwing wild punches. Prindle is a little marked up around his left eye. Nice right hand from Prindle. Uppercut from Burns in the clinch. Right hand misses, but the left hook rocks Prindle off his base. Nice right-left from Burns now. Thirty seconds to go now. Prindle tries a trip from the clinch, but fails.

Round 2 - Leg kick from Prindle lands low again. He’s now being deducted a point for repeated infractions. Wild exchange after the restart. Burns working a takedown up against the fence. Prindle defends, and they disengage to the center of the cage. Prindle stuffs a takedown. Burns puts a hand on the mat, but eats a right hand as he stands up. Right hand from Burns staggers Prindle. Combination from Burns lands. He takes Prindle’s back standing. Knee to the body from Prindle. Both men are bleeding from their faces. Both men are also slowing down. Burns’ left eye is swelling up. Right hand from Prindle. Big knee from Prindle. They trade jabs, and Prindle lands a combination as the round ends.
