"Sugar" Shane Mosley faces pound-for-pound number one fighter Manny Pacquiao on Showtime pay-per-view Saturday night. Mosley brings a career record of 46 wins, 6 losses and 1 draw into the fight. After a drubbing of Antonio Margarito in 2009 breathed new life into Mosley's career he was pegged to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May of last year. Mosley was beaten handily on the scorecards but did almost knock Mayweather down in the second round. He followed that fight up with a draw with Sergio Mora that was seen as a very disappointing fight by most observers. Mosley is a huge underdog against Pacquiao but is still a tremendous fighter with the ability and will to beat anyone when he is "on."
At the weigh-ins a large crowd of close to 8,000 fans turned out to see Mosley hit the scales in advance of his welterweight bout with Pacquiao.
Mosley's official weight was 147
