Pacquiao Vs. Mosley Weigh-In Picture And Quotes

“Sugar” Shane Mosley and Manny Pacquiao stepped onto the scales Friday afternoon in Las Vegas to make weight for their welterweight clash. Both men appeared in fantastic shape, not that either man has a reputation for anything less. Mosley stepped on to the scale first, weighing in at the 147 pound welterweight limit. Pacquiao followed and weighed in two pounds under at 145 pounds.

As the two men faced off the height advantage for Mosley was visible but he will have to use speed that many do not think he has anymore to keep the powerful Pacquiao at bay.

Showtime Sports tweeted this picture of tomorrow’s combatants shortly after they stepped off the scales:

Mosley: “I’m very confident I can get it done. Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter. I’m just excited to be able to fight Manny tomorrow. It’s going to be an exciting fight. THe whole world needs to watch it. It’s going to be great.”

Pacquiao: “I believe Shane Mosley is a strong fighter, a good fighter. He trained hard for this fight so I had to train hard and focus on the fight.”
