The Vancouver Athletic Commission today released the names of those fighters receiving medical suspensions after June 11's UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin in the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Several of the bouts featured dramatic knock out finishes and, unsurprisingly, a number of the fighters have been required to receive follow up examinations from their personal physicians.

Darren Elkins -- Suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Michihiro Omigawa -- Suspended for a mandatory 9 days of rest.
Aaron Rosa -- Suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Joey Beltran -- Suspended for a mandatory 9 days of rest.
Jason Young -- Suspended for 180 days pending foot x-ray; if cleared, suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Dustin Poirier -- Suspended for a mandatory 9 days of rest.
James Head -- Suspended 60 days with 45 days no contact.
Nick Ring -- Suspended for a mandatory 9 days of rest.
Mike Massenzio -- Suspended for 30 days with 21 days no contact.
Krzysztof Soszynski -- Suspended for a mandatory 9 days of rest.
Chris Weidman -- Suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Jesse Bongfeldt -- Suspended for a mandatory 9 days of rest.
Yves Edwards -- Suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Sam Stout -- Suspended for a mandatory 9 days of rest.
Vagner Rocha -- Suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact.
Donald Cerrone -- Suspended for a mandatory 9 days of rest.
Dave Herman -- Suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact.
