The HBO use of the Face Off platform to promote fights hit a major high in the lead up to the Bernard Hopkins/Jean Pascal rematch. That was a video which sold the fight and captured the legitimate animosity between the two fighters. The network is lucky that Saturday’s fight between Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye features two fighters whose dislike runs deeper and with more violence than Hopkins and Pascal.

It’s interesting to see just how much Haye has actually gotten under the skin of Wladimir. At one point the champion looks so angry that it is clear that he would like to throw the first punch across the table.
The two men play roles straight out of the movies. Haye as the so-cocky-he’s-cool Brit and Wlad as the smooth German baddie with anger boiling just below the surface.
This is a little bit old, but it perfectly captures the animosity between the two men beautifully and should help get everyone excited for tomorrow’s fight.
