The second round of the bout between Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye the first thirty seconds were fought much the same as the first round. Wladimir continued to look to establish the jab with Haye trying to come in with an overhand right. Through a round and a half it was clear that Haye was focused on making Wladimir chase but he was not landing many significant punches.

Wladimir went to the double jab and followed it with his first big right hand but didn’t land it. Finally with a minute left in the round, Haye landed a solid left hand but it was Klitschko who landed the next significant punch. A very hard right hand.
Haye’s strategy of wearing Klitschko down by making him chase appeared to be working slightly toward the end of the round. But this was another Wladimir round.
