In the third round of the clash between Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye it appeared that Haye was going to need to open up his offense a bit more. And that’s just what he did, early in the round landing a few right hands, including one solid shot to the nose. A small trickle of blood appeared from Wladimir’s nose follwing the punch, serving as a reminder that Haye came to fight.

Wladimir began to have a bit more trouble actually landing his punches compared to the first and second rounds. Haye started to duck under sweeping hooks and with 40 second left he landed a few more hard power punches. Klitschko backed Haye into the ropes and opened up, landing a few punches of his own.
