This is my last NASCAR weather forecast for the 2010 Season. I want to thank Jeff Gluck for giving me this outlet and opportunity to share my talents to bring his readers and those on SBNation.com an accurate weather forecast each and every week.
What started off as a NASCAR fan who just happened to be a meteorologist sitting at home watching races and realizing fans needed more weather information than just, “Looks like these crew chiefs better have a plan cause rain is on the way” Thanks to twitter I had a place to give fans a weather report and also let them know when the rain may occur and how long or how bad the rain may be. From there it just exploded with almost 3,000 twitter followers and a great place like SBNation.com as a place to post my weather forecasts. Again to all of you, thank you.
Weather Forecast: More than likely this is a dry forecast for today’s final NASCAR race, but with an on shore flow of wind coming in off the Atlantic there could be enough moisture around for a pop-up shower or sprinkle. I think any rain that does form will be brief but enough to cause a caution or red flag situation. As the race goes on I will keep you updated on current weather conditions via Twitter and this site.
