Pocono Raceway Weather Forecast: Showers & Storms Threaten
The weekend is not a wash but showers and storms threaten each day.
Friday is not all bad, with the best time for showers and storms in the evening. If I had to pick one day where the threat of showers and storms were the highest, it would be Saturday.
Overnight Saturday into Sunday, a cold front is forecasted to cross Pennsylvania – and here is when some of the forecast models differ on timing.
One scenario has the front through by the afternoon and mainly dry for the race. The other scenario is the cold front stalls and showers linger going into Sunday afternoon. If it does rain, Monday looks like a good day.
The good news is the weekend doesn’t look like a total wash and there will be more dry time than wet; it is just a matter of when we get those showers and storms. Stay tuned!
