Dale Earnhardt Jr.: I Won’t Date A Woman With A NASCAR Tattoo

Dale Earnhardt Jr. was a guest of the Dan Patrick Show on Wednesday morning and was asked about women who have tattooed images of Earnhardt Jr. or his number on their bodies.

After NASCAR’s most popular driver told host Dan Patrick he’d seen several tattoos of his face on other people, Patrick asked if a NASCAR tattoo would ruin a woman’s chances of a date with Earnhardt Jr.

"Could you date a woman who had your number on her body?" Patrick asked.

"No!" Earnhardt Jr. replied immediately. "Heck no! I mean, I just couldn't."

"What if somebody is so hot, but she's got Jimmie Johnson's number on her?" Patrick said.

"Ugh! That'd be a deal-breaker," said Earnhardt Jr., who isn't currently single. "Easy. I mean, Jimmie is my buddy and all, but still..."

On a more serious note, Earnhardt Jr. said losing the No. 8 when he left Dale Earnhardt Inc. for Hendrick Motorsports “didn’t really bother me too much.”

“I knew I’d been 8 for so long that it was going to be kind of tough, but I haven’t really missed it that much,” he said. “I look at old pictures or see an old race with that red car, and it was a good-looking ride and it was great to be No. 8, but 88 seems normal to me now.”
