NASCAR Point Standings After Fontana: Greg Biffle Retains Sprint Cup Series Lead

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points leader Greg Biffle retained the No. 1 spot following Sunday’s rain-shortened Fontana race, but Kevin Harvick remained within striking distance.

Harvick sits just seven points behind Biffle, followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. (-17) and Auto Club 400 winner Tony Stewart (-18).

Kasey Kahne was the biggest mover on Sunday, jumping five positions to 27th place. But Kahne is still 68 points outside a Chase spot and has much work to do over the next 21 races.

The other big gainer of the day was Kurt Busch, who moved up four spots to 23rd in points after his first top-10 result of the year.

The biggest loser of the day was Joey Logano, who dropped four spots to 13th – outside a Chase position – with a disappointing 24th-place finish.
