The month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a wonderful time. As a born and raised Hoosier, and an attendee of several Indianapolis 500’s, I know the month of May can bring a wide variety of weather challenges. From rain and severe storms, to hot and sometimes even cold. I remember a month of May that featured a day or two with snow.
2012 Indy 500 Qualifying Weather Forecast: Action On The Track Not The Sky
Fortunately as the 2012 Indy 500 sets the field of 33 this weekend, all the action will be on the track with no worries from the skies. Temperatures will be warm but nice as highs will be in the mid 80s and there should be plenty of sunshine with just a few clouds. Let’s hope this is the rule and not the exception for next weekend’s Indianapolis 500.
