NASCAR driver Kyle Busch has signed a contract extension with Joe Gibbs Racing according to a USA Today report.
Kyle Busch signs contract extension with Joe Gibbs Racing

Citing sources, the report states that Busch has signed a “multiyear deal” which was agreed upon in December.
Neither the team nor the driver would confirm the report. However, JGR is expected to formally announce the signing later this month during the annual NASCAR media tour.
“I anticipate we’ll have something to announce,” Busch told the USA Today. “Whether I’m staying or going, I’m not sure.”
Busch, whose contract was set to expire at the end of the 2013 season, would have been a highly coveted free agent whose services would have likely been in demand by many of the sport’s top teams. Instead, he has elected to stay with the organization he’s been with since 2008.
In his five years with JGR, Busch has 20 victories in the Sprint Cup Series and has made the Chase on three occasions. And for his career, the 27-year-old has 24 Cup wins to go along with 51 wins in the Nationwide Series and 30 in Camping World Truck Series.
