A pair of No. 98 cars finished in the top-five on Sunday in the Winchester 500 but did so under slightly different strategies and circumstances.

Mingus called his car “the best we’ve ever had here,” and was hoping for one more long run to be able to reel in the leaders, Erik Jones and Chase Elliott.
Southern Super Series championship contender Daniel Hemric made the trip up north to compete in the Winchester 400 and was one the top challengers for most of the day. He recovered from an unexpected pit stop for a flat tire and still managed to finish fifth.
Next for him is to chase down Bubba Pollard in the Southern Super Series finale next month at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville, where he trails his rival by 46 points with only the All-American 400 remaining.
