NASCAR Kansas 2013: Start time, TV schedule for Hollywood Casino 400

The NASCAR Chase continues in Kansas this weekend with the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Jamie Squire

The Kansas Speedway will be home to the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup Sunday with the drivers competing in the Hollywood Casino 400. The race will be the fourth of 10 Chase races, and a few drivers may need strong finishes if they are going to stay in contention.

Matt Kenseth will be in the lead when the green flag waves, but the question is: how long? After winning at Dover last week, Jimmie Johnson is now just eight points behind Kenseth with Kyle Busch 12 points behind in third place. Johnson will have an advantage off the starting line after he qualified third. Kenseth will start a few spots back in the No. 7 spot, and Busch will have some early ground to make up after he qualified 18th.

Green flag is scheduled for 2:16 p.m. ET, with ESPN’s television coverage beginning more than an hour earlier. Pre-race coverage on ESPN will begin at 1 p.m. with live race coverage scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Once again, Allen Bestwick, Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree will be in the broadcast booth during the race. The ESPN pre-race show and the race itself can both be watched online at WatchESPN.

Viewers looking for even more pre-race coverage can tune into Fox Sports 1, which will begin its pre-race show at 10 a.m. There will also be extensive radio coverage from Motor Racing Network, which can be streamed online or heard on Sirius-XM radio’s channel 90.

Here is a complete look at Sunday’s coverage

Pre-race shows: ESPN at 1 p.m., Fox Sports 1 at 10 a.m.

Live race coverage: ESPN at 2 p.m.
