2013 NextEra Energy Resources 250: John King tries to defend title

King can become just the second World Truck Series driver to win this race two years in a row.

The Camping World Truck Series NextEra Energy Resources 250 is the first race of Daytona 500 weekend, and it will get underway at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday night. Defending champion John King will try to make it two wins in a row.

The order of the field is not yet set, as qualifying for the race got underway at 1:40 p.m. ET Friday afternoon. In addition to King, Kyle Busch, Todd Bodine, Ron Hornaday Jr. and James Buescher, among others, will be competing in the race. Bodine has won this particular event twice, and Buesher was the Camping World Truck Series champion last season.
